Reed & Barton Sterling

Each piece contains 925 parts of pure silver and 75 parts of an alloy, usually copper for strength and hardness. Flatware can be marked “Sterling” only if these Federal Standards have been met. Use over time gives Sterling its lustrous patina. Sterling knives have blades made of stainless steel. These blades are forged and then permanently affixed into a hollow sterling handle. Made in USA.
